Redmi 10X first phone with dual 5G SIM

The Redmi 10X will be the first phone to use the MediaTek Dimensity 820 chipset. This chip supports dual SIM, dual standby functionality on 5G, allowing both SIM cards to be connected at the same time.

Connectivity aside, the Redmi 10X will feature an AMOLED screen, something rarely seen in these price ranges. This will enable the Always On Display feature and it seems that it will be highly customizable with text, patterns and even images (besides the clock and notifications, of course).

Lava Mobiles is shifting production from China to India

In an impulse to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘LOCAL KE LIYEVOCAL’ call, household brand Lava on Saturday declared to move its whole versatile R&D, structure and assembling for the fare showcase from China to India inside next a half year, reporting to put in general about Rs 800 crore in the proper way of time.

Lava exports over 33 per cent of its phones to markets such as Mexico, Africa, Southeast Asia and West Asia. As part of the transition, Lava will invest around Rs 80 crore this year and subsequently around Rs 800 crore over the next five years.

Apple to reopen 25 U.S. Apple Stores in US

Apple’s Senior VP of Retail + Deirdre O’Brien published an open letter on Apple’s website. In the letter, O’Brien notes that nearly 100 Apple Stores around the world have reopened. Initially its 25 in US.

The company was one of the first inside of China to take action right away, and by using social distancing Apple was able to slow the spread of the virus. Apple has continued to develop a set of rules that it has stuck with in China and elsewhere, and this has allowed it to safely keep its stores open for months. It plans on bringing over these rules to the U.S.

Apple iPhone 12 leaks 120Hz dispaly, 5G and larger batteries

Apple will offer a dynamic 120Hz ProMotion display on the iPhone 12 Pro models with the ProMotion system, the display on the “Pro” models will switch between 60Hz and 120Hz depending on the content. This is done to save battery life although Apple is planning on increasing battery capacity some more for this year’s models.

Also Apple going to introduce the 5G in iPhone. The combination of 5G and ProMotion is going to require more battery power and Apple is expected to pack the iPhone 12 Pro Max with a 4400mAh battery

 

LG Velvet specification

LG Velvet packs an upper mid-range Snapdragon 765G processor, 8GB RAM, 128 gigs of expandable storage, and a 4000mAh battery. The “Raindrop” rear-facing camera system is tipped to consist of a 48MP Samsung-made main imaging sensor, as well as an 8MP wide-angle lens and 5MP depth shooter. At the front is situated a 6.7-inch OLED display, waterdrop notch for the selfie shooter, and optical in-screen fingerprint scanner. The phone is 5G ready and runs Android 10.
